This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for purchases made on thetatemple.com, including physical goods, retreats/events, services/appointments, and digital content.

1. Your right to cancel (distance sales of physical goods)

You may cancel your order within 14 days from the day you receive the goods.
After notifying us, you have 14 days to return the goods.
We will refund the product price and the basic delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the goods back or acceptable proof of return.
You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or misdescribed.

2. Retreats & events (date-specific services)

Bookings for retreats or events held on a specific date or period are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off right. Our goodwill cancellation windows are:

≥ 60 days before the start date: full refund (less any non-recoverable third-party costs).
30–59 days: 50% refund.
< 30 days: non-refundable.
Name transfers permitted up to 7 days before the event (no fee).

If we cancel a retreat/event, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid for the booking.

3. Services & appointments (coaching, classes, therapies)

Free reschedule/cancel up to 24 hours before the appointment.
Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged 100% of the session fee.

4. Digital content (downloads, streams, online programs)

By choosing to download/stream immediately and giving explicit consent at checkout, you waive the 14-day cancellation right once download/stream begins.
If digital content is faulty, we will repair or replace it; if that is not possible, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.

5. Faulty goods (summary of your rights)

Within 30 days of delivery: you can reject faulty goods for a full refund.
After 30 days: you can request a repair or replacement; if that fails, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.

6. How to cancel or return

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or acceptable proof of return.
